Vegas is awesome, and the marriage was low fuss. Cheap too. Around $400 in total. A year and a half later she walked out, and had me served with divorce docs. There's a 50/50 chance you will be served with divorce docs also, so don't let love cloud the reality of statistics... The point I'm making is, you're a lot better off losing $400 for a wedding, than spending $10,000 on a wedding. Think about it!~ Just my $0.02 1 Link to post Share on other sites
d0nnivain Posted December 1, 2013 Share Posted December 1, 2013 I am happily married but I hated wedding planning. It's very stressful & very expensive. That said, I think the process made us stronger as a couple because we had to overcome certain obstacles together. Ironically I also got closure from a prior LTR which had been over a long time before I even met my husband. But going through the wedding planning process made me realize the EX & I never would have survived it so it's a good thing we never tried to get married. Link to post Share on other sites
