Some of them are healthy - being assertive, self assured, etc. Even professionals find it hard to diagnose personality disorders, so it's really not that easy. But if you look on the net you'll find plenty of info about it.

She could just be extremely selfish. That doesn't make someone a narcissist. What does she do that makes you feel she is a narcissist?

The relationship is only about her needs and when they arent met she dumps him, gives him the cold shoulder, wont speak to him, until she is ready to come back. Then she manipulates him into thinking its her way or no way. She always wins. She is using him for her own persoanl gains. She also needs to be at the center of attention, she constantly shows everyone that she is the 'one and only'. Its also how she can turn hot and cold. She can be very loving and sweet then cold, unappologetic and hurtful without caring about his feelings.
whichwayisup Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Well, it's really up to him when he decides he's had enough. All you can do is be his friend, listen to him when he needs an ear... It does sound like an unhealthy relationship, but unfortunately, he may not be ready to see that yet, seeing as he's still with her.
