I've known this girl for about a year now, we were good friends and I finally worked up the courage to ask her out.... This past valentines day I had the ultimate plan to make her feel so special, she is after all a very special person in my eyes. Anyways, my plan fell through, she decided to spend the night at a friends house. Even though it ruined all i had planned for her, I don't hold it against her, how was she to know?!? So, I ended up looking like a complete a** I had done nothing for her for valentines day. So now I'm trying it again, same plan different occasion. I made her a card, hand drawn and cut, the works...heres my problem.....I wrote "you..." on the cover of the card, intending to continue the line on the inside. I now cannot for the life of me, remember what I was going to write on the inside to end the "you..." sentence. Can someone please give me some ideas of things I can write on the inside, short and sweet to complete the sentence. I already am going to write her a long note on the inside but I need to complete this task first...... She is the most amazing person I have ever met, and she is beautiful inside and out. I just want her to know how important she is to me..... Please help me out guys, thanks D

eddiehazel Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 My advice is to NOT send the card at all. If she's not "there," on the same page with you, it could scare her off. In my experience, women react differently to gestures like that. Some find it endearing, some fall head over heels, some think it's thoughtful. Some think it's needy, emotionally overwhelming and cannot deal with what they perceive are feelings that are too strong. Let her be the first do to the card/teddy bear/gift thing. Or if you must, keep it very light, short and sweet. More general than "You are the most amazing person I've ever known..." Some people cannot handle hearing that and it might frighten her off. Just a counterpoint to consider...
