This past Friday I was playing at a local pool hall with friends and ended up getting hit on by this great guy. He flirted and chatted with me for about 2 hours before I had to drive my friends home. Before I left I asked him if he'd like to play pool with me some other time and he immediately offered me his number. I said I'd like that and he gave me it, as well as asked for mine. It's been 3 days now and he hasn't called. I've heard that the girl should always wait for the guy to call, to act mysterious, and make him chase her, but I really like him and don't want to let this great opportunity slip by. He seemed to be confident and to be very truthful about himself. I got the impression that he was sincere about liking me and that he really did want to see me again. So should I call him? Perhaps it's my job to do so because I asked HIM for a phone number? Or, in a weird way, that this is some sort of test to see if I'm assertive enough for him? I just don't want to seem desperate. What do you think I should do? Time's running out for me to do something about it.
TJ07 Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 I say call him. It is possible that he too is nervous and unsure what to do. I would call and say hey I was thinking about going to shoot some pool and was wondering if you wanted to join me? I don't tink it's a test, I think it's more nerves.
