LaGreenEyeZ Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Here's my story: Just recently a friend of my dad who lives in another state called him and after talking to my dad him and my mom got to gabbing on the phone,and in the conversation he told my mom that she had a beautiful daughter (i'd only seen him once in the past when he was a guest at our house,at the time i was 16 and he told me that had i been older he would ask me out) and asked her if she'd give him my e-mail address so he could send me an e-card for Valentine's day, and that he'd been having problems with his girl b/c she was too jealous and that after a trip he was taking with her soon he was going to break up with her.She gave him my e-mail and the day before valentines i talked to him and he asked me if i had a valentine (i told him no)then he told me he had my e-mail and he was going to send me some photos of him and if i'd send him one of me.So the day comes, i get the e-mail and he's all: hey beautiful and wishes me a happy v-day and says in the e-mail : "i sent you some photos of me try not to laugh since im so ugly ,lol" So i send him a message back for with a pic of me as an e-card to wish him a happy v-day and told him i disagreed on the "try not to laugh/im ugly" comment.*Then he talks to my mom again and asks her if i got the e-mail and if i knew he had a girl (which i did).My mom tells him i did but that she'd told me what he said about breaking up with her and that i'd told her nothing could happen past friendship between us before he broke up with her.So he said, "yeah we have to take this slow".Then i sent him a message asking general questions about him, interests, his birthday so i could send him at least an e-card.He replied saying that he spends his free time with his "wife" and that he was on a cruise with his "wife" (i put it like that because thats how it was in the message, it mentioned "wife" a LOT) and that he'd forgotten if he'd sent me pictures of his "wife" and that if i had any guys after me.This shocked me because the manner of the e-mail was so different than the previous ones.Then to seal all suspicions some girl calls my dad (which is the only # he has) asking to speak to me.So i know that the e-mail was either sent by his girl, or by him with her there with him.He had told my mom that that was his personal e-mail and that no one read it but him.He'd even told my mom that me and my dad were welcome to come and stay with him this summer when we went to the state he lives in on vacation.Then today my dad calls him (i was with my dad and he knew it) and he tells him that i have a break coming up so we can visit sooner.And his reply was that if my dad would be with him doing work related stuff then where would i stay.(implying that i couldn't stay there).This is all so strange to me since at first he showed interest...what im thinking is that his girl found the e-mails and so he changed his story.Which is so dirty and it hurts me that he would act in such a different manner.I just need some opinions on what you would do in my situation...im soo confused!

Author LaGreenEyeZ Posted February 20, 2007 Author Posted February 20, 2007 Well my dad was a friend of his since forever, so he doesnt' know anything,Luckily, and my mom trusted that he was saying the truth since this is a very intimate friend of both of our family.But yeah i was not trying to mess with someone who had a girl, i thought a friendship would be fine until he broke it off.But he isn't worth all that so i'll take your advice.
