JerryDen Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 I'm 22 years old and I've never had a girlfriend nor have I ever been on a date. Well, I don't know the definition of a date. I go out with girls to get food or go clubbing more as a friend thing. The girls that I have crushes on or care a lot about are the ones that just want to be friends. The girls that I'm not interested in are the girls that like me. My looks are not an issue because I'm tall and athletic with a stable career. My question is, am I too picky? I mean I want a gf that I like, I'm attracted to and interested in. Am I asking for too much? I don't have a social issue. I have a lot female friends, and i'm not a virgin. I just think it sucks how the girls that i like will only like me when they are desperate or alone at that current time, but will drop me in a heartbeat when they find someone better. I've had that happened twice, and it didn't feel good. I've also been used for sex which I thought was pretty cool at first, but it just got old and emotionally painful. Any suggestions? Should I settle for less just to get a GF?
Mr. Lucky Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 At 22, why the pressure to have a girlfriend? You'll get a better idea of the kind of woman you'll eventually want to settle down with if you play the field for a couple of years. Interact with all kinds of girls, both on dates and as friends. Plenty of time to get serious later... Mr. Lucky
