norajane Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 So I braved the frozen tundra today to visit a friend, and when I came back, lo and behold, I found that I wasn't the only one who had ventured out in the blizzard...the florist had delivered red roses, and UPS had delivered chocolate. Happy Valentine's day. Nice. Good boyfriend, good boy. But, I'm still mad at him from before. Yes, he's been trying to make it up to me...and yes, this is the first time he's ever moved himself to a) recognize VDay exists, b) actually has done anything for it, and c) has ever sent me flowers for any occasion. Yes, I'm happy he did this, and now I need to thank him, but I'm still mad.
kitten chick Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Isn't it amazing how they turn around and become good boyfriends when they think that they've lost you. Well maybe he's turning over a new leaf and he will continue to be a good boyfriend? You have every right to be mad and I know you're having trouble trusting him. A couple of roses and a box of chocolates can't make that all go away. I think you will have to let go of what happened in time or let him go.

Well maybe he's turning over a new leaf and he will continue to be a good boyfriend? Well, he's actually lost me before and didn't turn himself around, not for seven years, anyway. So, yeah, maybe it's some new leaf. Progress. I did ask for action, time to see how I feel, and some ass kissing in the meantime.
