For me of course I wanna see if this is someone I'd actually like so exchanging emails is good in the beginning. Thing is I see alot of men ask for your im name first then you talk in ims and the few guys I have spoken to I feel like I was on a job interview. The where do u work, do u like sports, do u live alone etc, etc. I feel like talking though ims is kinda impersonal. I mean there are those who you can sorta tell their personalities but then others that its like talking to a stick in a mud and after like one im convo I really I have no desire to im them again lol. I did speak to one guy on the phone though who seems like a nice guy. I mean I don't see in wasting months(I say this bc I know someone who met a guy after 3 months of emailing from one of these sites) of back and forth emails and ims if you're never even gonna plan to actually meet.
