brokenhart2007 Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 I am friends with a girl who met her boyfriend at age 26, 27, something like that, and he is like 47/48..they are married now. Apparently they are pretty happy. The only part of the situation that bothers me as well as her family, is that he has grown children and has had a vasectomy. She has no children, which was a concern to her mother from the start; we suspect she has it in her head that she will convince him to not only get a reversible vasectomy but to also give her children. She's in for a huge let down....not saying this would happen to you, but your post made me think them.. But I see nothing wrong with their age difference otherwise; if both parties are ok with it, everyone else should be ok with it, too. It's certainly not "weird", in fact it's pretty common now a days. Sometimes it's the woman that's older (look at Demi and Ashton!)...if you and this girl like eachother then by all means roll with it. If it doesn't work out, it would probably be just because of different goals for the future..which happens with many couples, regardless of their ages. But might as well see what it's all about and have fun for now!
