I'm sending my long distance love interest a little care package for Valintines Day. We used to date, and actually got together in February of 2001. So, this is what I have so far:

A nice card

A Heart Shaped Box of Reeses Cups. I got him one our first V-Day.

A Touristy Magnet from here.. It's got Bill Clinton playing the Sax, dancing with a Possum and a Racoon, and it says "Arkansas Wildlife". He'll like it.

I'm also sending him some locally brewed Beer and some local Honey (my Step-Mom's Dad is a Bee-Keeper)..

I was thinking about making a Mix CD, but I think that's too sappy.

I want to send him something a little more meaningful, though, and I'm not sure what to get. He's a Musician, so I might send him something Music related..

What do you think?

There have been a slew of post from women saying what do I get him. Is this good enough.

And us men keep awnsering don't worry about it Valentines day is for you. No matter what youi get us it won't be wrong or looked down upon. The big worry is going too far and looking desperate or too clingy.

It is men who are taught from grade school we must get cards, flowers, choclate, now teddy bear makers are forcing into the market; and if we have money jewerly. All topped off with a romantic dinner.

Truth be told like the New Years kiss we do all this and the only thing we expect is gureenteed sex, that night.

I woud not get him a Valentine's Day present. You are not in a relationship, you have already made it really clear you are interested.

Time to play it cool and see if he acknowledges the day.

My best advice with him is if he does come to visit, I would not be intimate with him. Give him the message you are for real, and are not just going to jump into bed with him.
