AriaIncognito Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 A GREAT song for women is "I Don't Need A Man" by the Pussycat Dolls. When I broke up with my ex a few weeks ago a girl at work heard I was sad and made me listen to it. It's a GREAT song...has lyrics like... I dont need a man to make me happy, i just get off being free I dont need a ring around my finger I dont need a man to make it through, and i'm doing fine i'm over you It's a great song. Seriously any woman out there hurting right now, download this song and put it on LOOP :-)

Ormolu611 Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 This song by Ben Harper has helped me a lot recently. It's called,"Please me like you want to." Here he is playing it with Jack Johnson accompanying him on guitar: "Leaving me is the least that you could do" Ben has got some great relationship songs! Here is another song, actually titled, Another Lonely Day: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQkfvljZUK0 "I'd rather walk alone than chase you around, I'd rather fall myself than let you drag me on down." Enjoy.
bubbalump Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 You don't know how much I need you. / While you're near me, I don't feel blue / And when we kiss I know you need me to. / I can't believe I found a love that's so pure and true. But it all was bull****. / It was a goddamn joke / And when I think of you, Linda / I hope you ****ing choke. I hope you're glad with what you've done to me. / I lay in bed all day long feeling melancholy. / You left me here, all alone, tears running constantly. / Oh would somebody kill me please? Somebody kill me please. / I'm on my knees, pretty pretty please / Kill me. / I want to die. / Put a bullet in my heeeeaaaad. Adam Sandler in The Wedding Singer.
bubbalump Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 I wanna make you smile whenever you're sad / Carry you around when your arthritis is bad / All I wanna do is grow old with you. / I'll get your medicine when your tummy aches / build you a fire if the furnace breaks / Oh it could be so nice, growin old with you. / I'll miss you, kiss you, give you my coat when you are cold. / Need you, feed you, I'll even let you hold the remote control. / So let me do the dishes in the kitchen sink / Put you to bed when you've had too much to drink. / Oh I could be the man to grow old with you. / I wanna grow old with you. For when i meet the girl that blows my ex away in everyway. Also Sandler in The Wedding Singer.
annabelle75 Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 Worst break up I ever went through was when a guy I was very much in love with asked (more like begged) me to marry him. I thought everything was perfect until a week and a half later he tolded me via AIM (while I was sitting at my desk at work) that he changed his mind and was getting back together with his ex wife. That weekend he took her on a trip with freinds of ours that I had planned and was no longer invited to. I lost him and my friends (obv weren't very good friends). He never contacted or spoke to me again since the initial AIM dumping. I had a total meltdown and was devistated for a long time. The song that I listened to over and over again was "You Oughta Know" by Alanis Marisette. To this day everytime I hear it I feel like kicking his ass. Great Song.
Reckless Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 I've said it before and I'll say it again - "You'll think of me" by Keith Urban... get's it exactly right....
Guest Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 I just got dumped 6 weeks ago. I shaved my head bold, took my black mazda 3GX with 17"fast venom wheels and blast Rise(Leave me alone) - Safri Duo Boiler - limp bizkit What goes around comes around by Justin Timberlake The girl left me when I was just recovering from a major illness that made me miss a school semester and had to sick leave 2 jobs. She wasnt sympathetic when I was sick either, she didnt want to come to the hospital to see me. When she did, she made it a point to call her girlfriend and tell her how ridiculous I look in a hospital robe. I live alone and have no family in the country, so didnt even have anyone to turn to. This was after 2.5 years of time with her and only with her, I NEVER CHEATED AND WANTED TO MARRY THIS GIRL. However this is not going to bring me down. Hope this helps Cheers
