Star Gazer Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 Star gazer, Are Legal minds an Aphrodisiac? Ummmm, not necessarily. A brilliant mind is, but obviously not every "legal mind" would fall into that category.
sb129 Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 hahahahahha I have been laughing so much at this thread. Stargazer and paris, can I get you a saucer of milk???!! Must admit, I am leaning towards your side SG. Even millionaires and billionaires have affairs and goof off at the office on occasion. They sure do. So do doctors, and other "pillars of the community" I have heard some of the CRASSEST jokes in the world when I was working at a "top hospital"..and that was by people who literally had peoples lives in their hands.... oh dear what is the world coming to! And as a professional person, I must admit I use immature words at times. Sorry, should I hand my degree and postgrad diploma back in? I have even been known to poke my tongue out at people (after they have left the room)... and working in the same firm, pulling in $400,000 a year a piece and they aren't behaving like this. They are highly respected, though, and obviously very good lawyers. They simply don't have time for fun and games like that at the office, but they definitely reap what they sow. Bully for them. Maybe they should lighten up a bit. and probably your mom didn't work in a firm like my friends'. They only hire the best. They are literally two of the best lawyers in the state, the guy is one of the best in the country. Doesn't mean anything. i have a few friends who are in high places... and some of the most successful people i know (successful professionally that is) are total disasters when it comes to sleeping around, booze, drugs etc etc. You have made mistakes in your life, haven't you? Does that mean you weren't raised with standards? Actually I do talk to my attorney friends a lot, and see them a few times a year. Unnatural looking boobs? Does that strike a chord with you, Star Gazer? Nasty. Cheap shot Paris. You don't know my friends. I know their salaries and I know how much work they put in. They do take vacations and travel, but they do work hard and perform well so why not? This is something to which the OP and Star Gazer should aspire, not worrying about hot bosses' birthdays and such. I can tell you my attorney friends aren't thinking that at work. How do you know? Are you there? Have you seen The Office??? Anyway- to the OP.... laugh it off. Its funny. Your boss prob won't be as worried about it as you think he will be. But try and maintain a more professional relationship with your boss from now on.
Star Gazer Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 No, I'm not obsessed, just letting you know they look fake 'unnatural, and unattractive. 'Tis a shame that you have a lawyer's salary and got such a bad job, but not an obsession. You're the one who started stalking my posts tonight, hon, and PMing me, too! This is getting creepy. You are so very, very sad, Paris. I feel badly for you. Not only are you continuing with the attacks, but you're just making stuff up. I RESPONDED to YOUR PMs, I wouldn't voluntarily seek you out and engage in conversation. You've proven yourself unworthy of such efforts. Hope you woke up on the other side of the bed today.
Star Gazer Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 Nasty. Cheap shot Paris. That's all I got last night! Craziness!
Topper Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 Touche' Good reply Star Gazer, I can see you fall under the Brilliant category.
CardPlay3r Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 Hah yeah SG rules. Now answer the question every male (and females too, they want to don't deny it!) wants to know... are they real?

VinaAmez Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 What is this? Yesterday two other members duked it out, one left, and now the same thing is going on again? For Gods sake, pull yourselves together. This is LS not BS board. Hey I like that.
magichands Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 What is this? I think it's a thread. People post stuff, and stuff.

the_total_package Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 had the same point, don't worry about the bday present fiasco, don't flirt with your boss...they both seem to have a problem with each other for some reason.
glitzy55 Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 Have you actually ever been in an attorney's office ? I pretty much grew up inone with a parent who worked there. Most of the time the lawyers were flirting , or having affairs or goofing off... and every now and then they got some work done. Pretty much describes the firm at work at. Mostly all of them are married to other attroneys and there was an affair going on that was very well known in the office and not hid. Work..whats that? Laywers are human too so using the word retard I don't see the big deal. I will tell you tough that the ones I work with lack common sense. When someone with a law degree after 8 years still does not know how to use a fax machine and what way the paper goes in..well that tells u something.
