You could try wearing that, and see if she comments on it. Alternatively, just ask her how her day is going.

I don't know if you're counting on it, but don't expect her to love you for your looks because that's not going to happen. Common ground? That's cool, but remember she can talk about her favorite band with anyone so just let her know you two have something in common. Don't excessively talk about music. Make the mood romantic, we can't give you the words or lines. It's gotta come from the heart man. Good luck man, just remember it's all about desire, every bit of advice every person gives on these forums, hell advice every person in the freakin universe gives, just remember those are just words. How badly do you want love? If you want it bad enough you'll find out a way to get there, whether it's this girl or not.
