Guy Friend Ignored me For MONTHS...Why is he contacting me NOW??

My Guy Friend and I use to hang out all the time..Its been at least 6 months or more and we havent hung out since..I really miss him..I called him many times in the past but he hasn't returned ANY of my phone calls and showed no interest in hanging out..I asked if he were angry or if I had done anything wrong and he said No.. So its obvious he wants to spend ALL of his free time with his girlfriend..So i finally gave up on him..I completly stopped calling him and spend most of my time with OTHER friends or usually my boyfriend..

 

If he ignored me all this time why is he now trying to communicate with me through msn messenger?every time im online he messages me...Whats going on here..?? (and I know he's still with his g/f because I see them out together..)
