Guest Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 My ex-fiancee and I were together for 3 and a half years most of that spent overseas. After moving back to the US I admit I got a bit complacent in our relationship. She has since called the whole thing off saying she needs to make herself happy before she can make me happy. She tells me she still loves me we do talk occasionally and she stands by that if things are meant to be we will be together at some point. I know how to move on from a relationship and am plenty strong enough to do it but this woman means the world to me and is truly what makes me happy. I think it is worth trying to stick it out and see what the future holds. Anybody have any advice on how to handle such a situation? Thanks for those who do post!

If it's meant to be she will come back right? Worry about yourself I would say. I am kinda stuck where you are right now. I have no idea how she feels but what i do know is if she wanted to be with me she would. I plan to just stay away and tell myself it's over b/c if she turns around in a few months and says I met someone else it would hurt that much more. I plan to meet as many girls as possible and just enjoy myself.
