how old do you think is too old to have children? Men or Women?

im not talking about just physically - when would you say it is really just too late to be thinking about kids anymore?

I don't know... for me I wouldn't want have my first child past 35. Overall I think its cool to have kids up intill 40 or so.

Well that 67 year old woman who just had twins is definitely too old. I think also you should have your kids by the time you are 38. It takes a lot of energy to raise kids and you don't want to be perimenapausal when you're trying to keep up with toddlers. It really is a shame we women have such a short window for childbearing. When we are young we have all the energy and not the smarts and then when we get old we have the smarts and no energy.

I also don't feel it's right for all these old men to father children either. Look at Tony Randall who had those little kids and now he's gone!

I think it has to do with bringing up the child, right and

giving the child proper parental, nurturing support.

So you gotta think about your child growing up and

will you be attentive enough and in good enough

shape to be there for him/her as he/she is growing

up, becoming a man/woman. As in, how old will i

be when He/she is graduating High School????? will

i enjoy it, or will i be needing a cane?

I think 35-40 yr old age range is the "have a child or don't"

time. If you haven't had children by 40, it may not

be a good idea. Look at michael douglas, wtf? He'll be

in an old folks home by the time his kid graduates

high school.
