Guest Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Good Morning, I was hoping that you all can help me... & i promise my situation is real... =) I have been NC w/ MM for the past 6 mnths. We are both have an account on this "friendship" site & it indicates your current status.... Recently i have changed my status to In a Relationship as random/scary guys were sending me messages & i was getting alittle scared... by Changing my Status has stopped mail coming through... & i only now recd it from my friends & other ppls that have actually spoken to me as a person not an object... However, after 6 mnths MM has now logged on EVERY SINGLE DAY[ before he was on only one a month] & im getting pranks on my phone... - the way he used to do it... HOWEVER i dont know its him... BUT my gut is tellin me it is.. WHY would be be back... HE LEFT ME..!! I have moved on.. why is it affecting me?? Please help...

So, ppl i dont know cannot see me BUT i can see them... However my status still shows.. Yes, its poss that it is the BW however... i have had this account for a over a year or two... He is usually on once a month or even longer... however EVER since i have changed my status.. he is on everyday... do you think thats weird...& no he is not one of my "friends". I cannot see that its the BW as.. well when we got caught she was not curious on who i was seeing.... she couldnt care less... HE chosse her... thats all all that matter... rite?? you wuld think that after 6 mnths ill be over this...... Why would he EVEN try to come back??.. he is where he wants to be right?

If you've moved on, why are you checking how often he logs in..? Are you hoping that if he thinks you have someone new that he'll react..? Then I would imagine that that's why it's affecting you so much. Be honest with yourself. If he left you, and it IS him behaving like this (contacting you again if he thinks you have someone new) then he's not a great kind of person anyway. He wants what he can't have. And if he had you again, you'd seem worthless to him and he'd leave you again and you'd be right back where you are now. I'm with other people on this: those dating sites are just a mess of messed up people and you're better off closing your accounts.

You have to not only not contact him, but you need to remove everything from your life that has to do with him. Checking his status on an internet website is not helping you move on. You gotta stop.
