I've been reading new threads here lately where the initial posting is about two pages long! I know you need to vent and work through your breakup and I understand. I know we're looking for advice on here and we want to feel better. But, if you want advice from others on here you need to shorten up your threads and get to the point. Many of us don't have time to read and try to decipher threads that are three screens long. Help us help you!

It doesn't matter if they're somewhat long just as long as there are paragraph breaks and the writing is clear.

I like long posts. It gives you a better idea of what they've gone through, and what they're feeling. Quite simply, if you don't have the time or inclination to read those long posts, don't.

What I'm talking about are lengthy threads that go on and on that seem more like rambling then making a point or asking a question. Yes, details are good. Yes, concise with clear writing is good too. There have just been a few threads in the last week or two that are very long, hard to follow and it's difficult to understand how to be helpful. Just a suggestion. No biggie.
