Difficult situation need some perspective....

Its been 2 months since my ex and i have broken up. After the break up she starts hanging out with a co worker and all my friends so i stepped out of that friend circle for awhile until recently. Well yesterday i found out within the first couple weeks of breaking up she has slept with 2 guys and been hanging with her ex.

 

This doesnt hurt as much anymore because im in the process of getting through the tough times and finding happiness in myself by working out, hanging with friends etc... Im going through the grieving while she is burying her feelings and will probably end up with alot of regret down the road thats the type of person she is. Im not going to contact her or even attempt to, to me its over and shes shown her true colors.

 

My question is this though, Alot of my friends still talk to her but they tell me they dont talk to her. Why would they tell me lies like this? I dont know what to think of this. i've told em be honest about it im not going to judge em but they swear they dont and yet again do.

 

Any adivce/ideas?

Well...the obvious would be...if she's putting out maybe your friends want a piece of that action...therefore they wouldn't want to blatantly hurt you, but a piece of ass is a piece of ass. A case of little head overriding big head.

Like you stated before you are in a 'friend circle'.

 

They do not want to choose a side between being friends with you and her.

 

They may feel if they tell you they still talk to your ex or hang with your ex that you may feel left out or even angry at them and you may think they are being on her side.

 

I think your friends want to keep it as a simple little lie by saying no so that they are not caught up in the middle of you two.
