So, I'm going out with this girl this week. And I need first date ideas. I know there's movies/coffee/restaurant but that's just too cliche. I wana be creative. Any ideas will be very helpful.

Thanks in advance.

What about bowling or shooting pool? Activities are always good because they help fill in any awkward silences that might occur.

First I would need to know how old you are and how old your date is, and how much money and time your looking to spend on this date. Not knowing any of those factors heres a good one go to a concert or a show for the type of music you both like. Heres another idea that you might not consider cliche take her ski'ing sledding or something. u could take her to a museum.

We're both 18. And the first time we went out (with a bunch of other friends) we played pool, so I don't want to take her there again. How much am I looking to spend? I really don't know. Nothing ridiculous, and nothing too cheap either.

Thanks for your replies so far.

Tanbark posted my ideas. I assume that money is an option as I didn't have much at 18.

Roller skating or ice skating (lots of hand holding.) Anything that is seasonal for your area (you would know better than I.) As a last resort, Chuck E. Cheese (or Showbiz Pizza depending on geography) has really good pizza and lots of two player games that could recall both childhood memories and adult competition. I'm 42 and wouldn't mind the childhood memories as foreplay.

Yeah, I reside in Toronto so it's very cold here. But I'll think about the skating, might be fun. Another issue is that I only get my driver's license in 5 months, and she lives about an hour away by public transport. So yeah.

But I appreciate all your suggestions so far. Keep 'em coming if you can.

Thanks.

look the most important thing is to have fun yourself, you cant control what she does but if you plan the date so your going to have fun and she has the oportunity to have fun well woop there it is. build a snow man with her then start a snow ball fight with some little kids, then take her to an area with a great view and try to make out, I mean what do you want me to pull out of my butt here... why dont you take her to a dwarf wrestling match and then go light fire works in the park she'll remember that one

I'd like to thank you all for your suggestions.

I decided I'm gona take her to this old part of town on the lake. It's got lots of nice restaurants and the scenery is beautiful. We're just gona have to bundle up.

Again, thanks so much and wish me luck! :)
