friends or more

[a broken soul]

So me and this guy have been friends for lil over a year and we started hanging out more about 3 months or so ago. well i finally got the nerve to tell him that i like him and kinda got rejected. he told me that he didnt want a girlfriend right now adn that he just had a lot going on. understandable. we stayed friends and nothing changed. we still hungout and everything. well when we would go out he would pay for me sometimes and we have conversations about everything and anything. well about a month ago he texted me while he was a work as usual ,but he asked me if i though he was hot so i told him the truth which was yes. and we talked about that for a lil bit and then it went form there to he sent me one that said he was falling for me. my heart stopped. so i asked him for how long and what had made things change. he told me that he had been for 3 weeks or so and that things had not changed completely for personal reasons. well that was a mont ago. but before that we had talked a few weeks before that about how he was thinking about asking me out when we went to gatlinburg. well we went up there thursaday. things went good friday and then when the rest of the group got there sat things went to so wrong. after the group competed in their competitions we all went walking well he walked off didnt even ask if i wanted to go or anything. for the rest of the day he only said two words to me the whole time. and also he would go out on the balcony and talk to someone on the phone and if i started to go sit with him he would be like one minute then get off and then was like ok. or he would go outside to talk just acting like he was hiding something that he didnt want me to know. then that night he called to get the key for the room so i let him in and he decided he was leaving so we came back a day early. he hardly said anything to me on the way back. i had to try and make conversation. which wasnt normal. i asked him if i had done something and he said no , but he also said nothing was wrong and he sure didnt act like nothing was wrong. so i dont know whats going on. im so confused and this sucks along with hurts really bad.

 

I really like him. but i dont know what to do or what is going on things took like a full 180. they went from being good and posibly having a relationship with him to back to zero. i dont know what to do. i feel like crying and just giving up on this if there is even anything here. so please let me know what you think.
