HI everybody...

I'm new here...

I would like to tell u about my situation and my problems...

I'm portuguese and i live in Portugal...and for 4 years i met a girl (in Portugal) who lives in USA...(she cames every holidays)...and after an year i fall in love with her....

in the beginning she doens't show any feelings about me..but for 2 years ago...she told me she loves me...and we start a relationship until nowadays..(it continues)...Most of people think this kind of relationships are very stupids cause we never see both...

I think our relation is trully cause she shows me that she really likes me...and i love her alot...

The question here is...

Sometimes when she's in USA and i'm in Portugal and i can't see her..i feel very sad...and i think if this relation can go on...cause i need her close to me and it doesn't happen...

Even we love both..wat do u think about it?...

Wat should i do when i'm getting down?

Really apreciate your answers...!Thanks everybody!

The only way to feel less down is to know that at some point the distance between you will come to an end. In other words, you need to make plans to take your relationship out of its Long Distance status. Without that you are both just torturing yourselves.

Yes...always think of the future. Always try to find that light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes that light is temporary like seeing eachother on holidays but it's those things to look forward to that can you keep you two happily together. Look on the brighter side of things--at least you two get to visit each year on holidays and such. Maybe you can save some money up and visit her or something. Think positive positive positive!

I agree, a specific plan to be together for an extended period of time would be ideal!

Whether that can happen or not, faith that things will work out as they should, spending time with friends, and allowing yourself to feel sad sometimes so you can take care of yourself should help. Lots of love stories have bumpy periods and wrong turns, and the sadness you feel right now might just be a step on the road to happiness, both in life and/or with this wonderful person.

Wishing you the best! :)
