heythere12 Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Hi everyone! I'm new here and have a question that I wanted some input on. So I'm in college and was recently home over christmas break. Of course I met a boy there that I really ended up liking. We met the 28th of December went on a date and had a great time. I was out of town over the New Year and I went back to my home town and spent three date nights together and had a really great time. Said nice things and was a nice guy. Before I had to go back to school (which is 4 hours away) we were both really busy and I ended up going back to school on the 8th of January. He called almost every day and we had really good conversations with him saying he would come visit and I him. The last time we talked was a week ago, the 18th. It was a great convorsation and we had actually talked twice that day. Here's where I think things went wrong. I was joking around (we joked like this) that he missed me and couldn't wait to kiss me again. Not a huge deal, we had said these things before...However, I think this might have sent him for the hills. It's a week later and I'm still thinking about this guy which isn't like me. He actually has responsibilities every weekend until May as an athlete (not professional) so his chances of actually visiting are nil. He is also younger (not by alot) than me. So my question are: Did I scare this guy away? Or was it just a short fling that fizzled because we didn't have time to build a connection? What should I do now that he hasn't called? Should I call? ( I called once and left a message and I'm not going to call again. He has also messaged me over myspace nonchilauntly once.) I really, really liked this guy and can't stop thinking about him. I never feel this connection with anyone. My hypothesis is that I don't call again and see if he calls and the next time I go home I call him and see if he wants to get together. However, with him not calling this also seems really stupid. Thank you for all your input! Confused
