marcievalley Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 There is this guy that I met at school. We don't have any classes together but we ran into one another frequently. We talked a few times and he asked me to lunch. We started emailing eachother and phoning eachother and had a lot in common. He said that he was really attracted to me. We went to lunch 3 times and he said that he really liked being with me that I made his day every time we were together. I wanted to ask him out on an official date but figured that if he really liked me he would ask me (my male friends have always told me if a guy is really into you he will ask you out). Anyways about 2 weeks ago he completely stopped emailing and calling. I called him and asked if he wanted to go to lunch again sometime and he said that he had been really busy. At this point I pretty much figured that he wasnt into me. Here is the thing, he still seems to make it a point of walking by an area he knows where I will be and he always makes it a point to smile and say hi. I have also caught him slowly looking me up and down which I see as a sign of interest. What do you think is up with this guy. I figure if he wanted nothing to do with me he would try to avoid me and would certainly not be friendly with me. But why would he totally cut of our communication if he was into me? Does anyone have any feedback on this situation?
