silentcharon Posted January 25, 2007 Share Posted January 25, 2007 Hi, I'm currently dating a guy who runs a company in the oil patch, which requires him to be out of town for months at a time. He recently left for supposedly two weeks, but he said it could very well be 6 to 12 weeks. I haven't heard from him since, probably because there isn't any reception and he doesn't have access to the net. I was wondering if there were any military wives or people on LS that deal with this kind of thing. When your SO's are away on jobs for extended periods of time, how do you cope? I find myself missing him terribly. During the day time I'm busy with school and whatnot, but when I come home at night, that's when the missing starts.
