stace79 Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 This has probably been asked a million times, but I'm curious. How do you all define love? How do you know you love someone? What qualities show you that it's meant to be long-lasting? Thanks. =)
Author stace79 Posted January 20, 2007 Author Posted January 20, 2007 I forgot to also ask if you feel you can be "in love" with someone even if they don't necessarily love you yet....When a relationships is progressing, obviously someone may feel stronger quicker, but what does that mean to both people? This has probably been asked a million times, but I'm curious. How do you all define love? How do you know you love someone? What qualities show you that it's meant to be long-lasting? Thanks. =)
littlepeanut07 Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 So many different forms of love. 1. infatuation "in love" feelings 2. committed relationship love 3. habit love 4. fear of letting go love *goes along with habit love The beginning when you are all into each other and can't stand to be apart, that is defined as being in love to most, and that is what i call infatuation love. Then you have the love when you are ready for commitment. Then you have the love where you are out of the infatuation love and into the habit love, where your heart isn't skipping a beat like it used to and sex isn't as passionate and your not shaving your legs every day anymore, but you are so used to being with them, that it becomes habit love. Then you have the fear of letting go and starting over love, even though you have started to neglect the relationship and other men or women start becoming more attrative you are not ready to let go and live without that person, so you just stick to what you have an just fantasize. I am sure there are more but you get my drift.
Hitman10000 Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 I think the best kind of relationships seem to have two people who seem like best friends forever kinda deal. Oh and of course both of them are attracted to each other's faces (You might someday wake up with their face every morning.)
