ImNotAPlayer Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 OK so I met this girl on New Years and we hit it off right away.. actually she picked me up and we hooked up all night. All of a sudden it's 4am and she has to go home cuz her friend is sick. So a few days go by and I call her, we start calling back and forth, and we set something up with her friends and my friends. Long story short, we take the drive out to the place we were supposed to meet up, and despite a few texts assuring us they are on their way, we get stood up. Get another text around 1am saying she is sorry but one of her friends bailed and they couldn't find a ride or something. We text back and forth for a few, she asks if she can come out to visit us next weekend, but I don't bother replying. (I was pissed, obviously) So it's been like 2 more weeks since then and still no call. I thought she woulda called by now to at least apologize.. but nothing. Shes a couple years younger than me and so I'm not sure if this is just a cold blowoff or if she's just too immature to make a phone call. Some more detail: About her: 20yo college student, lives with a few other girls about 45 mins away. Gorgeous. Works part time as a waitress. About me: 23yo professional, 9-5 job, coming off a recent heartbreak kinda looking for a rebound. Can I say I'm good-looking without sounding vain? Well, I just did. Anyway, the question is, should I bother calling this girl? or just forget about her? I usually deal with older girls who call more often, so I'm not sure how to deal with one younger than me. I feel like calling her would make me appear desperate, which I'm not, but I still want the chance to take her out again. My buddies say they would crucify me if I call, but I'm just looking for a second opinion. I'd appreciate if any attractive girls with lots of friends would give me some advice (cuz I'm sure you can relate) ::crosses fingers:: Thanks.
