insomnie Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 I did. Just got back together with my ex a week ago after two months' separation. We broke one time before that for about a month also. NO CONTACT!

Benji86 Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 i possibly am. broke up once, then got back together about three months later, broke up again, had a lull of two years or so...got back together, and broke up 6 months ago. its been a wild ride, confusing, crazy, but some of the best times came along with that too..so you never know is the basic idea lol
notmakingsense Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 I've gotten back together after 3 breakups, and now I'm on my fourth. People don't change that much. I've learned the hard way that multiple reconciliations are usually a waste of time.
Lowcountryman Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 If anyone is ever given a second chance at love you need to make sure this first break up is the last. If you're looking for 3rd and 4th chances the chances are the two of you just aren't meant to be together and there's obviously deeper issues that are causing these breakups. I'm hoping, not waiting, for my ex gf to give me that second chance and I know if I ever get it, I'm going to make the most of it.

The Lost Boy Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 well it's different with different people and situations I guess. and maybe it also depends on how the break up went, was it because a fight? or was it because of mutual understanding. also i think it matters who broke up with who. my ex broke up with me, and I regret what I said and done. I begged and told her that I loved her but til now, 4 months into the break up, there's no sign of me getting back with her...

Here's my thought...there isn't anything you can do to make her come back. I would assume you won't get back together and go live your life. It makes her more likely to want to get back with you, and it also makes it okay if she doesn't. Hang in there, go NC, and keep posting for support.
