Heehee, you are an addict.:p

Guilty as charged! I have managed to get the clothes into the dryer (took all of a minute away from LS) but those darn dishes are calling my name.

Just a few minutes more....they dishes aren't going anywhere.

And YOU would understand this...When The Saints won last weekend I had an overwhelming urge to immediately run home and log on to LS (BF doesn't have a computer) but I didn't. Drank too much beer and thought driving was a really bad idea.

Those dishes will probably be sitting there at least another hour.

I am putting myself on time limits today, so the dishes are done. However, in walking the "perimeter", I found that my kids had pretty much a whole other load of laundry laying around in various bedrooms and bathrooms.:mad: I knew the laundry load seemed too light! But load is one is folded and hung, load two is washing, and once that load is dry I will put ALL the clothes away!

which is obviously the point of this forum.

There is a point to this forum ????.. Who knew ?

Hi. I'm Art.. I'm an addict as well... they need to have a forum just for kicking the LS addiction...

If I'm not with my GF or up at the cabin I'm on LS.. from work mostly though.. intently surfing from my office desk...

Unlike other addictions though the LS addiction doesn't stop me from doing things that I need to at home.. I still get the home cleaned and the lawn/laundry done..

But I do surf and watch TV at night.. or drag my laptop up to my bed and surf from bed..

Lazy I tell ya.. LS can make you lazy..

A_C, if I had a laptop I could use in bed, I'd probably only get out of bed to chase those pesky children off to school for some surfing in peace!

My destop makes me go into the main room and "see" the work that needs to be done. But lazy, yeah, it's making me lazy.

My 30 minutes online/30 minutes working is bringing about drastic improvement. I literally have a timer set (11 more minutes of fun) and who knew how much could be accomplished in 30 minutes. I should have this place back in top shape by day's end.

Geez, I just realized it's already noon:eek: There's still hope...

It can be a problem sometimes..

A few weeks ago my GF and I never got out of bed the whole day because the laptop was there..

She/We surfed for porn half the day and watched porn movies and hit every webpage known to man...

5:30 rolls around and we are just taking a shower to go out for dinner..

Gotta check in for a few hours every other day, just to make sure I don't miss anything. LS has a way bigger cast of characters than any soap, and is much more helpful.;)

You're killin' me! :lmao: Must have been some morning/afternoon in bed! :bunny:

I use it to avoid housework too. It feels like reading threads and occasionally posting is my new job. I think I've tricked my brain into thinking that.

Too bad I don't get paid.

And unfortunately when I log off my house still looks like sh*t!

Enough said. I'm completely and utterly addicted. Pathetic, eh? *shakes head...* lol

Just today I tried something different with the timer and it worked wonders. I can be completely sucked in for 12 hours (no one to stop me as long as I feed the kids) and watched my home suffer for just two days straight. But today I got back on task, still allowed a lot of LS, but took care of business too.

I just decided that I will leave some of the fun (housework) for tomorrow and enjoy my LS and a few (perhaps many, I've got myself covered) beers!

Now if I could just detach long enough to go grocery shopping in a real way.... I would have it made!:p

Per my word I DID NOT VACUUM! Nor have any intention to. But I did pick up the big stuff manually!

Yeah, I use the oven timer for my kids all the time. I guess I should start using it on myself!

I have had the kids screaming and hitting each other or on my lap saying,

"Look at the cute pink elephant!"

or

"Look at the scary hangman's noose!"

Apparently we have a lot in common. "Look at the cute pink elephant" has actually happened to me too! (are you listening magichands?)

And the oven timer has been next to the computer for ages, I finally applied it to myself today!

 Same thing as with me, my older girl (7) always tries to read all the juicy details over my shoulder. But my baby has asked me a few times "Mommy? is that your pink elephant? If it is can i please have it?"

The pink elephant is much coveted!
