I sit next to her in science and she's quite friendly, she talks to me, laughs at my jokes and even leans and rests her head on me.The rest of the guys on the table dismiss it as she is kinda weird. Apparently she's going about with this other girl, they both hang around in the same area as my friends and I.I know the other girl and both of them don't seem lesbien to my friends and I,and the other girl used to go out with one of my best friends a 10/9 months ago. They all hang around in a group, this might just be a personnel joke within the group. Please Help me out, if your not to busy. Thanks in advance.
whichwayisup Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Don't assume she's a lesbian. I mean, girls have sleepovers, sleep in the same bed and cuddle, talk etc...Doesn't make her gay! Ask her out for coffee and go from there. Or is this post about finding out if she's lesbian and that's it? Are you interested in her?

Well today in science, she stroked my hair on 4 seperate occasions, put her arms/hands on my shoulders many times during the lesson, touched my face twice and I swear she touched my leg with her hand while I was talking to the person the other side of me, I turned round and she was looking the other way. But as I mentoined she is very very very weird. Please help I idiot, Yes!

A girl that is touching you physically and cannot keep her hands off of you and is kinna embarased to look you in the eyes means that she is not shure that you like here yet so as I go again TAKE A CHANCE IT IS NOT END OF THE WORLD, seriously I am like 80% sure that she likes you a lot I mean as a boy friend that if you asked her out she will say yes within the first 1 minute. I had a girl that did that to me, little different On the first time I was introdusced to her was she walked really closely to me and after that she started touching my face hair like you and than she kissed me (right on the lips to be exact) which I think is kind of bold for a girl to do on first meeting. Yes she was my girl friend for a long time and she did tell me that she was interested in me, was hoping for me to lean to kiss her as soon as she started staying close to me. I believe if you keep that girl waiting you will either push her to the point where she will kiss you and she will ask you weather you like it or she will give up on liking you and stay away. One more thing I dont believe she is lesbian at all- I have seen some wierd things girls do and let me tell you freeky. I am talking about they would want to sleep naked with each other and still not lesbian!!!! I was wierded out the first time I heard this but I saw them going with thier boy friends the other time so I believe u are in a really good cituation and by the way I am extremely jelous of ur situation.

According to us guys girls can do freeky things especially in highschool. All I say again is ask her out I am pretty shure you will not get dissapointed of the outcome.

As I state from what you are saying the posts I dont really believe she is - I think she likes you but she is kinna wieded by the fact that she is making the moves on you - that is what I understood from your original post so I really believe that you should ask her out on a date cofee and really look for a time to ask her straight out- but dont push that question.

Is that what other people are saying? Girls who are best friends do go out together often, and they are very close. Doesn't mean they are sexually attracted to each other. In any case, this girl touches you and hangs all over you. That should be more than enough reason for you to ask her out. That you are holding back because of some lesbian rumor, means you are a coward. You need to be 72% certain before you ask her out? And just how do you measure these percentages? Lesbians aren't so fond of straight guys, by the way. It's pretty doubtful that a lesbian would be hanging all over you like that.

This week Monday:She acted same as she normally does (as said in previous updates/posts), but she asked me for help, because I am sort of a science whizz (whizz sounds sounds much better than boff or geek I feel)and I'd help her with her work. (Lucky I'm not in her english group eh?) Thursday:Normal, lots of contact and my friend who I'd confided in (Mentioned later) put her hand atop of mine as a joke because I seemed a bit depressed aparently.And she didn't move it,I pulled (or had it pulled away rather) my hand away only when a classmate started to choke me from behind (he's a wrestling fanatic) and asked me why her hand was on mine.I replied Lee put it there,we then at the very end of the lesson she asked me about my family.When I told her my dad was dead, she asked why? I replied 'cause god hates me I guess, this might explain how she was on friday. Friday:She hardly talked, and only when to answer when someone spoke to her.The only contact was that a hair stroke.But we were talking about hair because John and Keith had both had a haircuts, she went round and stroked Carl and Johns hair plus mine of course.And said it wasn't as soft,maybe she wasn't having a good day. Anyway The friend I mentioned earlier Lee, I told him that I liked Her.He already had suspisions, in fact last year the whole table mocked us and tried to get us to go out, using the usual tactics.But then I didn't much care a girl was a girl, so I'll stop rambling on and get down to the story. As I was saying I asked Lee who also is Her friend and the Girl that she is apparently going out with's friend.I asked him if they were lesbiens or what, And he said they are both bi-sexuals. Anyways, The other girl has already agree'd to go out with lee again if "they" break up. So some devious plans are forming to seperate the two girls in mine and lee's minds. alextop30 Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 Well bi-sexual for me means --- "I really dont know what I want to be" so I believe since she is intereseted in you that means she is not that much bisexual --- I would say a little comfused in her sexuality than more of the gay type but I would still suggest that you go ahead and ask her out- the worst thing that she can say is that she is gay or the best thingthat can happen and this is if you are really lucky -- you might score with both girls and oddly I dont see any problem with that. I storngly believe that asking out would really not hurt you because it might give you the answer that you are so desperatelly looking for and might put the whole problem to rest or she might just tell you that she is crasy about you and that she really cannot keep her hands off and she wants to chew you up like a nice piece of sweet chocolate... I do make mistakes too dont really matter as long as you can get your point across

Assuming that all bi people are confused about their sexuality is a very common mistake. question for the OP: any idea if this girl is bi and has a preference for one of the sexes? knowing that may be important for you.
