My eardrum for the past couple of weeks in my right ear keeps vibrating, one nite it vibrating over and over and I had trouble sleeping. I did see my doctor, she said that the eardrum did look irritated but she didnt say it was an ear infection. Also she just had me get Mucinex D from the pharmacist, an over the counter, u have to sign for since its strong enough cold medicine to make speed I guess. But anyways, I am having a lil nasal problems, some drainage, but not really bad upper respiratory problems. I don't want to go back to this doctor, I'm ready for a new one she seems to never be able to help me.

So I dunno how soon I will get my insurance switched to the new doctor, but I am wondering if this vibrating in my ear is normal or not? Should I be worried? Has anyone ever heard of this, or had it happen to you? It doesn't happen at specific times when it gets loud or anything, just out of nowhere. I did have a lil pain on the bone behind my ear, but it has gone away. I saw something online called mastoiditis or something of that sort, I hope its not something like that. Any suggestions? My ear does hurt occasionally sometime with a lil pain but its not constantly. The vibrating is all day long, but often enough to worry me. I feel like I just wasted a doctor visit this week and the 25 bucks to buy that Mucinex...just don't know where to turn. Loveshack has been helpful for me before, thanks! -Darla
