abysmal Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 Don't know how many of you watch Sex and the City, but if you do, you know how Berger broke up with Carrie with a freaking post it... I'm not sure if mine is worse or better or what. Ok, so we have been broken up since September - we have a 6 year old daughter. We have been being civil and I THOUGHT that we were trying to work things out. We have gone out, had sex, you know, the whole nine. He dropped our daughter off last nite and she tells me she went to see daddy's new place....uh ok....WTF?? He starts saying crap like don't be mad, I need to do this for me....don't be upset, just go with it....whatever. AND now that he is moving in with these great friends of his, he wants to know if I have any leftover furniture I can lend them!?! Where do people like this come from...he signed a freaking year lease with his buddies (not exactly acting like he gives a freak about what happens with us) and then asks for my furniture???????? I don't get men...seriously I don't. I don't want to talk to him anymore, but unfortunately we have a child....what can i do??? Please...any advice welcome. UGHHHHHH....and btw - i am upset now...was crying earlier...i think worse than a post it...my daughter said it
Functional Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 Are you mad because he has a place to live? Wouldn't you want that for him so he may provide a stable environment for your daughter. Be nice and give the guy some furniture, don't be mad because he is trying to be independant. Give it some time and you will get use to this arrangement.
Guest Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 He's owed furniture? I don't know if he paid for it, but if he didn't, why would he be owed furniture from her place?
