I found out today that he talked to yet another ex-girlfriend and lied to me about it (or rather, did not tell me, after promising me he would tell me about all extra-curricular female interactions). How I found out doesn't matter. The point is that I had method and found out in order to protect myself and my child for what I now know is a pathological liar. I broke it off with him immediately. I am devastated. I really, really thought that this guy was the one. He has destroyed me, and it's going to be a long time before I can really open up to anyone else again.
tanbark813 Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Well take it from someone who has been crushed by info he had to find out for himself the same way: When the pain dies down and you've moved on you'll be glad you're rid of him. It sucks now but at least it can only get better.
