orangele Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Well I am planning to get married in San Diego where I was born. The main reason being to help save costs as well as the travel for my elderly mom. The issue is that I really am pretty shy and not very social, and I really want a very small wedding. I have alot of family in the area (cousins, uncles, aunts) that with the exception of one aunt, have had virtually no contact with in many years. Would it be in really bad taste not to invite my cousins, aunts etc. who live close by? My fiancee is from out of the country, and none of her relatives can come, so ALL the guests will be from my family.
Zaira Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 It is your wedding. You can invite whoever you want. If family members get upset then that is their problem. I guess the other option is to invite people to the ceremony, but only have a small few at the reception.
