steenerz Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 I've never dated in the past (i'm 21), but had a boyfriend of 2 years...anyway, I went on a date last night with a really wonderful guy....i had a wonderful time, and i think he did too...we laughed a lot, talked a lot....we walked to a nearby sushi restaurant by my apt, then afterwards he suggested somewhere to go for dessert, so we went to the cafe across the street and talked some more over coffee and ice cream. Afterwards, he walked me back to my place, chatted some more outside...(fyi, he actually lives an hour away, where I am originally from and go home during college breaks to see my family and stuff)...ANYWAY...so he asked when I'd be in the area next...I told him in maybe two weeks, so he said to call him...then I invited him to my apt to watch tv or a movie, but he said he felt bad for his friend that he was staying with, and i totally understood...then i invited him to a NBA game from the area, and he was really interested, so hopefully that will be our next date (in a week and a half tho )...so then, he ended the night with a hug and a kiss on the cheek. Sorry if I sound like a middle-schooler...but do you think he sounds interested? I really admire him so far, I've never met anyone as successful and ambitious as him (he's also 5 years older than me). Also...let's say the next date goes well....would it be ok to kiss him, or is that still too soon? (or even, should i ask to kiss him? haha) I also would like to tell him why I like him...(seems intelligent, hard-working)....would that be too much? Thanks.
