longlegzs80 Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Question for the men. When you have never really said anything to a women, what makes you attracted to her? Is there something specific you like about a specific women, or are you one of those men who don't care as long as its a women???
Green Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 well I'm attracted to women who have a specific walk, talk and pretty. I usualy only like white women but theres this black girl at my work who I'm thinking of asking for her number.

Curmudgeon Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Fifteen years ago yesterday I began work for a new agency and was taken around the headquarters to meet all the staff. I distinctly remember one woman who was less than friendly, minimally polite, rather dismissive and looked at me the way someone might look at a bug under a microscope. Clearly she couldn't have cared less about me being there. I was intrigued because there was something exotically attractive about her and clearly a challenge there to "fix" whatever it was that made her so distant, and I always did love a challenge. Over the course of the next five years we worked together often and developed an appropriate working friendship in which we came to admire and respect one another for our knowledge and abilities. I guess I should tell you that four days ago we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary so I guess I fixed it alright!

Tall (5'10"), natural blond hair, blue eyes, not the greatest skin, size B bra, 175 lbs. Not much to say. I don't wear form fitting clothes at work because I work in a factory, I don't wear makeup either there. So, yeah that is me. But I want to know what makes you (a man) find a specific girl attractive?

JCD Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 That look that a woman gives me. It's even more pronounced when she has makeup under her eyes. I also find wrinkles under her eyes sexy. She also has to be slim, shorter than me, cute and have curly brown hair. Personality wise, she should be funny, silly, childish, confident, good talker, cuddle, be a good team partner, hard worker, responsible and smart.

But I want to know what makes you (a man) find a specific girl attractive? LL, it's really not one thing. You can ask 100 guys the same question and you will get 100 different answers. I love tall, slim women. I love short women. I love average height women. I mean, it's the woman, WHO she is (not just what she is) that attracts me. I have been on dates with some phenominally good looking women only to see there was nothing backing the looks. I have been on dates with average looking women who, had they at least had some confidence I would have liked to pursue. I more I date the more I find confidence attractive. You know, the smile, the eye contact, the "not worrying if she has my approval or not" kinda thing. And oh yeah, if you want to know specifically what I find attractive, it's eyes. Beautiful eyes keep my attention.

Excitement, enthusiasm, humor, mischief. And how beautiful are they? My wife has lost weight, gained weight, gotten older, had children, changed hair color, wore glasses or contacts, or dressed in many different ways. BUT it comes down to her eyes. They are beautiful. The women that attract my attention may have some other characteristic that catches my eye...say figure, legs, hair, but to keep my attention, they need beautiful eyes with a corresponding smile.

It doesn't think logically (men think logically when it comes to relationships and that's why they flounder so often.) The more you try and figure it out, the more you'll fail. But I can tell you that the single most powerful character trait when it comes to attraction is confidence. You can be short or not particularly handsome but if you have healthy levels of confidence and are a tad witty, you'll have lots of success. For me, confident women are attractive and when I think about a clingy woman I dated, I can definitely see how that was not attractive. It's not about the chase, it's about loving and valuing who you are. If you don't love or respect or value yourself, people will not find those traits in you either. Cheers.

Now all I have to do is get some and were in business. The thing is I feel not so confident around a guy who I am attracted too until I get to know them. Then I can be the sassy, confident momma I truely am. Or pretend to be. Thanks again for the replies.
