Guy25 Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 I have met a really nice older woman recently, she is 10 years older than me and we seem to be getting a long really well, i have been seeing her on and of for about a month, untill recently i found out that she just came out of a 2+ year relationship, which messed her up and which she has ended 3 months ago and that i , when trying to show some physical affection i.e. cuddling, hugging, brought up feelings for her ex she didn't knew she still had. after she said that she dont think anything would happen between us and she would like to be just friends. we still keep in contact and still get on very well. I would like to know if there's still a chance!? I mean she showed interest in me at first and invited me to do stuff with her and she still keeps in contact. Does she just need some time or am i missing something else?
whichwayisup Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Back off abit and let her have some space. She's definately not ready for anything intimate yet. Sadly it seems right now she looks at as her "friend" and that's not something you want to hear because I can tell you really like her.
JCD Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 There might be a chance but maybe after many months or years when her feelings for her ex subside. It might be hard for you to be just a friend when you want more.
