movinon05 Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 :lmao: Here's tae us Wha's like us Damn few, And they're a' deid Mair's the pity! (Getting tired of "Cheers" - this was my Grandpa's favourite) OMG! That's awesome. I gotta save that on my computer someplace. In my state, I just hope I remember where I put it! LOL!!!!!
pureinheart Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 I'm 46, 47 next month. I started the A when I was 38. How many times do you think I wanted to smack myself for 7 yrs of my life going through that crap? Yes, I am older but much wiser. There are many men out there our age looking for love, who were ready to give up just like we were. You just have to hope you hit on the "connection." And now I know its not impossible. Wow....I'll be 47 in 3 mo.....movinon, you sound so young.... Man that is really encouraging for me....really tired of the mid-life crisis bunch!!!!!!
Can'tGiveUp Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 Calling the police.....lololol Seriously....with recent happenings old wounds are open a little, but I have a lot of support ....I guess one could say "D-Day" has taken place....so no more lies, that is a major relief. I don't have to worry about that stupid, ridiculous, messed up, worthless, hopeless, Godless, freak of nature, bad hair day relationship ruining my career.... My only advice in this state is pour yourself a drink and join us. You can count on our support. You did the right thing. (((pureinheart)))

Man that is really encouraging for me....really tired of the mid-life crisis bunch!!!!!! Hey, I became a grandmother this year! Talk about a reality check! But you ain't gonna see me sittin in no rockin chair anytime soon. My DIL avoids the outdoors at all cost. She's a mall rat. I told her I'm buying my granddaughter Timbs and taking her hiking and getting her all muddy. My DIL is beside herself! Seriously, most of the men I've dated are not in midlife crises. They are divorced and just wanting to settle down. The problem for me was that I would have had to "settle" for someone who wasn't quite right for me, and that shyt just didn't fly. Not anymore!
kymberann Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 Heya gals, I just got done with the present wrapping...glad that is over! I almost made a stop to the liquer store, for some wine, but it is too cold out, so I guess I will have to be sober! Plus I have to run tomorrow, out in the cold, the gym is closed! My mother was Irish (she passed away three months ago) she looked Irish and had some great many Irish traditions. No opened umbrella in the house, throw salt over your shoulder when you spill it, can't remember any others at the moment As for me, I am Italian, it comes out when I get angry "whasa madda yew". My kids know to make mom happy when I get raging! I personally am not religious but I want to go to Tibet and Nepal and see the Himalayas from a distance.... ....gonna have to pay off that danged cradit card first! Best

movinon05 Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 Thank you! She's 9 months now. That picture was a few months ago. But she is a cutie! I sing her a special Winnie The Pooh song that she just adores and it gets her giggling. Now her sisters sing it to her too. We all serenade her!

movinon05 Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 Well girls, on my end of the coast it is getting late. And I'll be cutting out soon. I just want to take this opportunity to point out to you how many posts we've gotten in a few short hours - 88 by my last count. Laughter is contagious. You've forgotten your pain for a few hours. Appreciate it. And know it can be that way again. And since BF is coming early tomorrow morning and I probably won't be back for a few days, I want to wish you all the merriest of Christmases and/or whichever holiday you celebrate, and my best wishes for happier days to come.

Can'tGiveUp Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 No, had to go save a guy faking seizures. I can't even imagine why someone would want to fake seizures. I couldn't do your job for all the money in the world. Good thing not everyone is like me!
