Well,basically...theres this girl i really like.. and its coming up to christmas so of course.. i offered to buy her a present... and i was gonna splash out quite a fair sum also.. Yet she was almost begging me not to.. well.. she was literally begging me not to..

 

Is this a sign? is she say wow,back off or am is she just tryna be sweet?

 

Should i just buy her one anyway? ...

 

Help would be appreciated

Dont offer to buy a present. If someone offers to buy a present, it sounds as though they are making some kind of a deal.

If you feel like buying someone a present, just do it, don't talk about it, either before or afterwards. Like if you want to buy her one now, don't start saying "well, I know you said you didn't want me to, but....blah blah". Just give it to her.

So, she is not your gf, sorry, I misread your post. No, do NOT buy her an expensive present if she is not your gf. Sorry. Giving, too much too soon, is not the way to get a girl. Be a little bit mysterious.

Any recommendations on what to buy?.... I was thinking along the Lines of jewelry... nothing to expensive.. but something nice. I wasnt intending to spend an arm an a leg.. just something to show my interest

sounds like u have feelings for her..instead of buying something, which doesn't take much effort, create something personal for her that expresses your feelings and is clear to her - that way she will know and can let u know if she feels the same way

 

if i may, i would like to be able to do the same thing without interuding on someones space. u know, like drive up to her estate and just leave something tucked in a backyard or wear seeing it will be a nice surprise. if u were a woman would that freak u out? i really understand the importance of making sure before doing something now because u never know how someone will react - especially if you think they are on the same page and they are not...i am learning slowly

There is other ways you can show her you care, you don't need to buy a girl a presant to show you care.
