SweetVixen07 Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 At the moment, I'm in a situation where I'm interested in a particular guy that goes to my college. He knows who I am but we've never had a conversation. He's a freelance writer who posts a lot of his writings online. I've read a few of his columns and interviews which give some insight on what kind of person he is. But the problem is that I'm sort of shy when I'm around someone I like. Which leads me to these questions below.... What are some of the best ways to approach a guy? And also do guys like it when girls make the first move?
Guest Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 from behind and hit him in the head with a solid piece of wood - then he's all yers

You can even invite him for cofee. We like it when girl makes the first move....when we find the girl attractive
Pyro Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Ask him some question. You can even invite him for cofee. We like it when girl makes the first move. This is true and its good advice.
Author SweetVixen07 Posted December 21, 2006 Author Posted December 21, 2006 LoL, it would help if I liked coffee...but a good suggestion. I might use that one...but any other suggestions?? And nothing along the lines of hitting someone over the head.

Author SweetVixen07 Posted December 21, 2006 Author Posted December 21, 2006 well he's 24...and I'm 20...so the bar is out of the question, which sucks

Author SweetVixen07 Posted December 21, 2006 Author Posted December 21, 2006 Hot chocolate seems cool...kinda cute in a way. We'll see though...right now we're on winter break until mid January, so we'll see what happens.

Are you both staying on campus? Or are the two of you going separate ways for the holidays? If you have snow, a sledding or ski date is always fun.
Author SweetVixen07 Posted December 21, 2006 Author Posted December 21, 2006 He lives in the area of the college we go to....but I unfortunately I live 2 hours away.
Pyro Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Now you have some downtime to build up the confidence to talk to him and have a plan.
Author SweetVixen07 Posted December 21, 2006 Author Posted December 21, 2006 He's a pretty cool guy. Two weeks ago we were both at a school function together and I was sitting in the audience with a few of my friends. I saw him walk by greeting friends in the audience. I called out his name to get his attention. He saw me and personal came over and shook my hand. I felt so good about it because my friends kept wondering who the mystery man was.
