How do i take the next step?

Well, theres this one girl.. the one that's always stood out.. recently more than ever.. And iv got quite close to her.. we got on really well, we have a laugh..shes shown alot of the signs given from other posts within this forum...

I told her i liked her... and i get the feeling shes just to shy to say the same because it was a bit hit and miss the way i timed it.. by this i mean.. We both said something at the same time, she was asking me a question .. and i was saying i liked her... and i replied ''Dont worry'' to her question.. and she thought that i thought she had said No to ''My question''... so she said nono i wasnt saying No to you.. but i felt awkward at that point.. im guessing she did aswell so the topic kinda automatically faded away... i havent really brought it up since.. but we've still been getting on really well... infact if i think about it we might have got a bit closer...

Its getting to the point where i really need to ask her the big question.. yet i feel stupid bringing it up again since she already knows i like her.. and Yes i am scared of the big ''NO'' but arent we all sometimes? This girl means alot to me.. i wouldnt let it ruin our friendship but it would still effect me alot..

 

Any suggestions? Tips ? Ideas... something to help me would be appreciated.. as i said earlier.. this one girl means the world to me and i dont want her to slip away.

I wouldn't sweat it. You don't need to rush anything. She knows that you like her since you told her.

 

It could be that she just needs to know that she can trust you before advancing the relationship.

 

Just keep doing what you are doing and she will start to give you more positive signals that she is ready for more from you.
