FallenTree Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Damnit...I hate this. My ex & I haven't talked for over 6 weeks. It's very hard. It's not like we quit talking right after breakup...but it's more recent (the breakup was in May, but we still talked regularly till Nov). Anyway, I got an accidental text from the guy Monday morning, and I was really excited. But now that I think about it, it wasn't for me anyway. Gah! I hate this. Thanks for listening!
D-Lish Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Hmm. Are you sure it wasn't for you? At least, wasn't cleverly designed to look like an "accident" when it wasn't? That's actually a pretty common tactic... :-) D

D-Lish Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 I've thought about doing it... I HAVEN'T done it... but I've thought about it. :-) D
Guest Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Well it could have honestly been for anyone...since it just said, "R u still up?" which was a common one a few months back. However, since it was at 3 am (not uncommon either), & it said "still" up as if I would still be up... I don't know. I just don't wanna get my hopes up.
Author FallenTree Posted December 19, 2006 Author Posted December 19, 2006 Well good points... I don't really know, but it sucks that this one event could first get my hopes up (why...I don't know, b/c any conversation will be disappointing) then to start to assume it was accidental. Sigh.....breakups suck. And it was a text that could have been for anyone; I'm just assuming the worst. It was the common "R u still up?" sent late, and I used to call back after these. I did not this time, though.
