mch0214 Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Hi everybody My ex and i communicate almost daily via email for short time...I enjoy talking to him. As near to end our talk, he says, talk more next week. Does that translate that he enjoys our talk and wants to talk more? or just being friendly? *M*
Girlygirl74 Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 My ex had a problem letting me go. It's been YEARS since we were together...and he still calls me at least twice a month while I'm at work to "check up" on me and to "make sure you're ok". I do not have caller ID at work, so I don't know it's him when he calls. He is married and has a daughter...and he knows I am taken also...but that doesn't keep him from getting in touch with me. I told him several times that it was inappropriate for him to be calling. I asked him several times to stop. But the calls continue. I don't really want to get nasty with him, because I know he's not the malicious type, he's just never let go. I could just hang up on him. I really don't know how to handle him. He tells me of different songs that remind him of me. He'll call me to say "remember when..." My ex will say things like "Are you really happy?" "Is he as good as me?"...then turn around and say "I would NEVER do anything to jeopardize my marriage and family". BUT...I think that him calling me IS jeopardizing everything he has. I am sure his wife would NOT be happy if she knew.

Author mch0214 Posted December 20, 2006 Author Posted December 20, 2006 I hope he cares...I do not want him just to be "friendly". i want to ask him what that translate in his word meaning " talk more next week" but again I do not want to push the button and he might run away. what is the better way to ask him to translate?
stillafool Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 It's obvious he enjoys keeping in touch with you, but I don't think it means he wants to get back with you. I don't know that there is a way to ask him what he meant by that without sounding stupid. When he says "We'll talk more next week" it obviously means "we'll talk again next week" to me anyway. I think you should stop waiting for signals from him. If you want him back or want to take your relationship to another level then tell him. You'll drive yourself crazy trying to analyze everything he says and does.
