Plastic surgery is a touchy subject for some, but I'm just wondering...

...if you were dating someone who you really liked, clicked with, etc., and you later found out that they had gotten plastic surgery years prior - like just one thing...nose job, lipo, boobs, whatever - would your impression of them change?

A friend of mine (seriously not me) just broke up with her BF because she found out he had gotten a nose job about 4 years ago. Because he got it "fixed" when it (in her opinion) didn't need "fixing" (he had never had it broken, didn't have a deviated septum, the typical "excuses" for getting a nose job), in her opinion he is beyond vain. However, they've dated for about 6 months now, and I've never heard her complain about him in any way. In fact, she's always giving him rave reviews.

My opinion of him - however platonic - didn't change. So...why did hers? Would yours?

I'm also curious because I've had "something done" in the past, and wouldn't be very pleased if some guy ditched me because of it either.

It would not matter to me at all, unless he was psycho obsessive with it, When I'm older and wrinkled I plan on getting botox, and if I ever have a child I plan on having plastic surgery to repair what having a child ruins on my body.

It wouldn't matter to me and I know it doesn't matter to all other people I know. Your friend is a nut case herself.

Plastic surgery is a permanent make-up. Yes, it involves a serious decision so you better be sure you really want to change. But it's really a one day (or one week) suffering for a lifetime result.

If I could, I would change everything about myself. It's just that there is no surgery for the things I need. Is it news that we want to be prettier? No, it's not the most important thing in life. Health is the most important thing in life so all of you who eat French fries and cookies, smoke and drink, don't care about your health and need a shrink! :D

Well, I Have To Have A Couple Of Nose Ops Because Of Self Inflicted Wounds...but People Do Stuff Like That All The Time - Depends On How You Feel, Sometimes Its Insecurties, Sometimes Not

For Example - I Used To Dye My Hair [yes A Man Admitting That] Now I Am Letting The Greay Just Do Its Thing

People Get Laser Surgery So No Glasses

Woman Get Their Pits Zapped So No Shaving

Men Take Steroids To Pump Up

For Me, Unless It Need Repair, I'll Just Age As Mother Nature Intended - She's A Cruel Mistress Tho....why Do We Keep Getting Hairiererefer As We Age?

As For My Ex, She Doesn't Know I Know About The Little 'things' She's Tweaked - But I Do

The One Thing I Dislike [but Understand Why Some Women Do] Is Breast Implants

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Someone I Know Has Gurls That Are Just Right....
