Guest Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 what is this? Does it cover IMing? What if your husband is really good with computers?
whichwayisup Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 If he is good with computers, then chances are if you install a keylogger he'll find it somehow. That is, if he suspects that you're keeping an eye on him. Maybe someone else can help you more, but I think there are other ways, possibly remote keyloggers that could be hidden...Not sure, so please don't quote me on that one. I take it you suspect your husband is doing something he shouldn't be doing online? Or is he having an affair - either online or in real life? Or are you two in recovery and now it's a trust issue?
Lennox Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Spector Pro 6.0 is a keylogger that runs completely stealth. It doesn't show up on the computer's history or list of programs when you install it or access it. It's what businesses use to monitor their computers. You need a series of personalized key hits in order to access it and look up history, so there's no chance he'll stumble on to it by accident. It's made by Spectorsoft, which has a website at Spectorsoft.com. It retails for about a hundred bucks and it's worth the investment if you have a need for it. It also takes snapshots of the screen periodically whenever there are key hits on it. It logs emails, IM's, peer to peer programs, everything that is done on the computer. Good luck to you and happy hunting!
Art_Critic Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Spector Pro 6.0 is a keylogger Agreed .. I have used it here at work before to watch an employee that was downloading child porn. It grabs all emails including hotmail and yahoo as well as attachments and can be setup to do screen grabs at any interval. It does come at a price though...
Poboy Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 and it does not get detected by anti programs like spybot etc ?
