Rooster_DAR Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 This is a question I often ask myself. Would it now just be much easier being comfortable with yourself and not even entering a partnership at all, it's just too much **cking hassle and it sucks when it's over. If you want children, why the hell not just adopt a child, there are enough frikin people in the word the way it is, just pick from the herd that's already available and stop the human overpopulation. D'oh! Okay I'm through venting, carry on.
Jubilee Kate Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 C'mon! What's that saying? "Love is like childbirth?" If everyone remembered all the pain they endured from previous heartbreaks there would be no more love. Tejas is a HUUUUUGE state. It's like a country in and of itself. There's someone out there. Just don't go telling her about your overpopulation theory on the first date... Just a thought. *Yes, I know I can be annoyingly optimistic*
johan Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Too bad there aren't more guys who feel like you do here in my state, Rooster. My take on it: what you're describing is a nice theory, but, for me, I get uneasy when I start to get content on my own. It's against my nature, and it's not how I want to live my life. Of course, I'm not doing much to take control of it. It would be easier if I just didn't care. But that would be like ignoring my maleness. It would be equivalent to going and getting my genitals removed. I might as well just take up full time gardening and stamp collecting.

I'm not suggesting foregoing interaction with the opposite sex, I'm just saying be independant and content without having the need to have someone there all the time. Just a thought. And yeah, not...I'm not going to exress my opinion of human overpopulation on a first few dates...unless maybe I have too much to drink.
pricillia Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 It is good to be independant to a certian extent you have to have time for yourself or you would probalby want to kill yourself from over exposure... It is like being in the sun, it is good for you because it has essential vitamins but if you stay in it too long you will get burned. Just kidding. As far as having children adoption is one way to help a child in need and it is a very loving caring thing when one adopts a child. Relationships are worth it if you value and cherish all of the good things
Author Rooster_DAR Posted December 17, 2006 Author Posted December 17, 2006 Just don't go telling her about your overpopulation theory on the first date... Just a thought. That bring up a good topic for a new post...something like; 101 Ways to kill a date 1. Don't tell your date you think humans are the fungus of the planet! :D:D:D
Tony T Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 "Relationships..Are they worth the trouble?" Not really....

Just a casual "by the way....do you think people breed too much?" could be an opening to a very lively and entertaining discussion. Or it could result in her storming off into the night while scoring you off her list of "potential baby-fathers."
