I get way to nervous...

Hey, i went out with my gf last night for the first time since we been dating. We hung out around the mall with some of her friends. I couldn't even think of anything to say when i was with her. We just went around the mall holding hands. Everything felt fine and i don't think she really cared, but i felt like crap afterwards because i couldn't even carry a conversation with her. I know her and i feel comfortable being with her but i get nervous for some weird reason. Also when we were in the parking lot talking with some friends, she came up to me and started cuddling. I felt kinda weird because i never had a gf who came up to me randomly and do that before. I liked it but i didn't know what to do and i was to nervous so i just kept on talking to my buddies. If you guy's can give me some tips on how to calm myself down and stop being nervous that would be awsome.

i can kinda relate.. before my hubby.. i never had bfs who were big on public displays of affection.. so it rubbed off on me.. when i met my hubby he would be all over me and kinda bothered me.. i talked to him and he calmed it down.. but then it got me thinking why not? this person really enjoys me and my company. so i let take a step out of my comfort zone.. and it wa the best thing i could of done.. not only for me.. but for our relationship..

Well, the fact that you are aware is a big step....I noticed the same thing with myself concerning potential bf....I noticed I wasn't being myself and was some what withdrawn. Like you talked to others, but still wasn't being myself....

 

Just the awareness seemed change me and I began to open up around potential bf....I made myself be me....

 

He began to open up and there could be the starting of a new relationship, whether it be bf or friend.

 

She might be blowing it off now, but that could change...good luck!
