so what is the difference in the way a guy acts if he's just a really nice guy or if he actually likes you?

Well I think regardless if they like you or not their going to act the same way. The only difference is that nice guys do things different then non nice guys. Hope that makes sense. Your going to know if a guy likes you if their nice or not.

Guys who are nice (as opposed to "nice guy = doormat" guys) are nice to most people most of the time. The only way to tell if he likes you is if he's extra nice to you compared to other people, or if he flirts with you.
