Guest Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 For those of you who read my last post, I gave up on that guy. I started dating a new guy this past week. We went out on a few dates and we got along great, I got the vibe that he was totally into me and a genuine good guy. Well, in talking with him and our past relationships he mentioned how long it had been since he had had sex. He mentioned how his buddies always give him a hard time about it and stuff... well we hung out a few more times and ended up having sex now before the next part, keep in mind these are 22 year old immature guys. this is probably typical behavior.... We were hanging out tonight drinking it was me, him and one of his friends. and he said something about his friend owing him 2 double cheeseburgers. now i was confused and asked what the bet was. he did not want to tell me, and then he finally said "because he thought my streak of not getting laid would go all the way to a year!!" and at the TIME, this didn't bothered me i sort of laughed it off. but later on tonight the more i got to thinking about it, it really hurts my feelings!! Here he was telling me all these things about how I deserve to be treated like a princess, I should have a guy that always makes me smile, etc etc and hes joking about me behind my back? I find it rude and disrespectful. I thought he was better than that? I do not know what to say or do...
TheDC Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 I wouldn't read too much into it. This is typical guy behaviour, and he is simply trying to save face in front of his guy friends. But he is a bit of a dumbass for telling you and that has more to do with inexperience and age. If you end up dumping his ass over this then he'll learn not to mention it again. You want to see him sweat just tell him that you have a bet going with your friends that he will never see you naked again. He will get the point.

blind_otter Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Who knows, he could have made this bet before getting to know you. It was an oops, at least he admitted it. Let him know how it made you feel, though. I'm sure he will be contrite and try to make it up to you.
