Thank you in advance :-) Suppose that a MM and an OW have been having a deep EA (EA only!) for over a year. The MM hinted he planned to leave W for OW. Then for some external work-related reasons they can't see or communicate with each other for at least 2 months (how long is uncertain). Out of bad luck they missed a chance to say good-bye prior to this medium-length(??) separation, though they very much hoped to. What will go throuigh the MM's mind during this separation? Will his feelings for OW wane, or will he miss her even more? If he thinks she may be actively looking for a boyfriend while he's out of sight, will he want her even more, or will he tend to give up since that would mean she's not whole-hearted with him? I guess every man can share some thoughts on this? Thanks! (oh by the way I'm not asking for moral judgment or advice on what to do/not do. It's the MM's psychology that I'm interested! :-))
